Travel solo, yet never alone

The Riviera holiday begins from your departure point

The Tour Manager will meet you at the airport (or Eurostar station), check in and travel there with you. Where this isn’t possible, a Riviera team member will greet you at the airport, help you check in and introduce you to other members in the group.

Less is more with small group sizes

The maximum group size of our solo tours is just 25 people. This gives a more intimate and personalised experience. For ocean and river cruising, it depends on your ship size. Our yacht cruises having a maximum of just 19 cabins, so just 19 guests!

Expert Tour Manager looking after you throughout

Our Riviera Tour Managers specialise in solo travel. They’ll ensure you feel safe and welcome, making your trip one to remember (you should learn lots from them too)!

Break the ice at the welcome dinner

To get to know your fellow travellers, you’ll enjoy a welcome dinner and drink at the beginning of your holiday. It’s the perfect start to the holiday. Your wonderful Tour Manager will ensure you never dine alone (unless you choose to).

More about our solo tours to Poland

Poland is a diverse and captivating destination, with influences from various civilizations, including the Vikings, Germans, Austrians, and Russians, which is still evident in its music, art, literature, and cuisine, especially regional specialities like pierogi (dumplings), kielbasa (sausage), and oscypek (smoked cheese).

Our solo tours are designed for like-minded explorers who travel together in groups. You'll have the opportunity to socialize with fellow travellers over welcome drinks and dinner, and our expert Tour Manager will be available to assist you throughout the trip. Together, you'll discover one of Poland's oldest cities, Krakow, on a solo tour.

Set on the banks of the Vistula River near the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains, Krakow ranks with Prague and Vienna as one of the architectural gems of central Europe. It boasts an array of architectural styles, from Gothic churches and Renaissance palaces to Baroque mansions and Art Nouveau buildings - all ripe for exploration. There are plenty of landmarks to uncover, like the 16th century Cloth Hall that still bustles with small traders, the rich and ornate decorations of the 14th century St Mary’s Church, the exquisite Eclectic-style Slowacki Theatre, and the immense medieval fortifications of Florian Gate, to name a few.

You'll also have the opportunity, should you wish, to take poignant and respectful tours of Auschwitz and Birkenau which highlight the sheer scale of the atrocities that happened during World War II and the Holocaust.
